How It All Started
Think about what fuels you, I mean emotionally. What is your passion that gets your engine revving? Biking, baking, rowing, drawing, sculpting, singing, dancing, learning? Mine is food. Well, not just food...but good food! Whether it's hitting the market, creating recipes, cooking or serving meals. I am drawn to the sights, smells and sounds of the garden, the market, the kitchen...the FOOD!
I truly believe that every person is capable of making delicious meals that allow them to eat well! Sometimes dishes can be complicated, sure, but not always. So often we let time, products, digestive issues, and inspiration get in our way of "eating well." Speaking of...what is eating well? To me, "eating well" means you are eating meals that provide your body with nutrients needed to sustain your well-being and retain energy...and these meals absolutely MUST be delicious and satisfy your soul.
I have struggled throughout the years with how I fit into the food industry. Whether it's cooking, inspiring, meal planning, coaching...I need to be involved in food! Having served as a useful resource to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice, I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. Et Voilà, here we are!
So, I found my niche providing delicious recipes and quality ingredient education to clients who are struggling to find inspiration in the kitchen. I'm on the journey to educating myself on nutrition and getting to work putting my knowledge, passions and curiosities to work!
I founded eatUP! so I could provide realistic nutrition coaching and recipe assistance to those who want more than an average meal but struggle with the time, energy or creativity to master it on their own.
Whether you're struggling with your current diet or simply need inspiration as you navigate the grocery store, I am here to help!
Take some time to explore my blog, read something interesting, and feel free to reach out if you would like to collaborate on a project together. I am here to give you a taste of what goes on in my mind and my plate! Hopefully I can inspire you to elevate your plate and eatUP!
